Commission’s Final Report to be published on 15 June

At its meeting last Thursday (28 May), the Commission agreed that Monday 15 June would be the publication date for its Final Report.

Chairman meets Mike Russell MSP

The Commission chairman, Sir Kenneth Calman, met the Scottish Government Minister for Culture, External Affairs and the Constitution, Mike Russell MSP, on Tuesday 26 May. They discussed the Scottish Government’s “National Conversation”, intergovernmental relations and other matters under consideration by the Commission.

Questionnaire results show substantial support for enhancing devolution

The full results of the Commission's questionnaire are published today, and show that 73% of respondents believe that devolution has produced better results for the people of Scotland.

MPs give views to Commission

Commission members heard from a number of MPs at a meeting in the Palace of Westminster on 22 April. The issues covered included relations with MSPs, the Sewel Convention, inter-parliamentary relations and Scottish representation in the EU.
