Welcome to the website of the Commission on Scottish Devolution – an independent review of the experience of Scottish devolution since 1998. The Commission began work in April 2008 and published its Final Report, Serving Scotland Better: Scotland and the United Kingdom in the 21st Century, on 15 June 2009.

On this site, you can also learn about the origins and remit of the Commission, its membership and how it went about its task. In particular, you can download Commission papers and read all the evidence that informed its conclusions.
